Police arrested a man after he allegedly threw a bag of flammable material at the Turkish Embassy, touching off a small fire in the building, Dutch authorities said. Initial reports quoting the Turkish ambassador to the Netherlands said there had been an explosion, but judicial authorities later corrected this. Five people, including the suspect, were injured and witnesses said the embassy compound, in the centre of The Hague near the parliament buildings, suffered considerable damage. The other four victims were three embassy staff and a visitor.
