The confirmed death toll from an Indonesia flood disaster blamed on illegal logging has risen to 75, officials said, and hopes were fading for another 100 people who were still missing. The bodies of 39 women and 36 men have so far been found in the North Sumatra resort town. "We will try our hardest to find these people but the chance of them being alive is slim to none," Indonesian rescue official has said. Two German women aged 20 and 26, a 63-year-old Singaporean male, a 30-year-old Dutchman and another 30-year-old man from Austria were among those killed when the flash floods smashed into the town. Along with the surging floodwaters came hundreds of logs, felled on the slopes of nearby Mount Leuser and washed down the river. They smashed into scores of homes as well as resort cottages on the riverbank.
