The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced that it would reduce its staff in Iraq, after the organization's headquarters in Baghdad was bombed on Monday and two staff embers were killed. However, the agency is not pulling out of the country, according to official statements. Other aid agencies and non-governmental organisations also reduced their staffing levels in Iraq, or pulled out entirely, after the UN headquarters in Baghdad was bombed in August, killing at least 20 people.
