Thousands of Bosnians gathered around the Parliament building as they paid last tribute to late former Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic in Sarajevo on Wednesday. Braving the drizzling rain, tens of thousands of mourners from all over the country arrived in Sarajevo to pay their last respects to the man considered the father of Bosnia. Former President Alija Izetbegovic, who led Bosnia's Muslims in the war for independence from Yugoslavia, died Sunday in a Sarajevo hospital of heart failure. He was 78.
