US President George W Bush has arrived on the Indonesian island of Bali for what US officials describe as a symbolic visit. During his three-hour stop in Bali - the site of last year's bomb attacks that killed 202 people - Bush met Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri in a show of support for her counter-terrorism efforts. President Bush, on a six-nation Asia tour, also plans to meet Indonesia's leading Muslim clerics to try to correct misunderstandings of his foreign policy perceived by Muslims as anti-Islamic, a US official said. The talks will take place amid the intense security, as anti-American sentiment runs at its highest in Indonesia - the world's largest Muslim country.
