British pop act Moloko started its European STATUES Tour in Sofia with a fascinating concert on Saturday night.

The two members of the group that claimed world fame with disco-like Ibiza hit Sing It Back were cheered by a fully packed Hall 1 of the National Place of Culture. The Bulgarian fans did not tire dancing all through the 75-minute show.

The two band's members Roisin Murphy and Mark Brydon brought to Bulgaria four musicians, seven staffers and two-ton equipment.

In spite of the fact that Moloko's press conference on Saturday hours before the concert was dominated by the stars' hangover after a busy night throughout Sofia's clubs, the two again stormed the Bulgarian capital's party scene after the show.

Moloko was formed in 1994 in Sheffield and named by Murphy and Brydon after a drink that the personages of writer Anthony Burgees take in large quantities in novel The Clockwork Orange.
