KOZLUDUY INCIDENT WITHOUT BAD OUTCOME

Two containers with 22 stud bolts in them fell off a platform during their transportation to the reactor space of the 1,000 MW Unit Five of the Kozlodouy Nuclear Power Plant on October 10. Nobody was injured. Unit Five is in routine maintenance. There was no radioactive contamination after the incident. The incident will not affect the schedule of the unit`s maintenance, N-plant officials reported. A commission has been appointed to establish the causes and take measures to prevent such incidents in future.
