An explosion went off at a restaurant in the northern Israeli port city of Haifa on Saturday, reportedly killing 20 people and injuring up to 50 others. Three children are reported to be among the dead. The explosion was caused by a Palestinian suicide attacker who entered the restaurant some time before the explosion came, Israel Radio reporter at the scene said. It is the first such attack since 9 September, when 15 people were killed in twin suicide bombings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
