`On October 5 all heads of directorates at the Ministry of Transport and Communications were offered to resign, yet we will consider the performance of all 15 directors and some of them may preserve their jobs,` Zdravko Velichkov, Deputy Transport Minister said. He declined to specify names. The lay-offs were explained with the right of the minister to shape up his own team. From October 15, the number of directorates will be reduced. 257 employees will remain at their jobs. There will be no changes in the Information Technologies Directorate,` Daniela Kerekova, Head of the Minister`s office said.
