A shouting match broke Wednesday between the four main candidates -- including movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger -- for the post of California governor, during a long anticipated debate. During the discussion Schwarzenegger was criticized for supporting a divisive ballot initiative nine years ago that would have prevented services for the children of illegal immigrants. One if his main rivals, Democrat Cruz Bustamante, came under fire for taking millions of dollars in Indian casino money. Throughout the debate, moderator Stan Statham had to repeatedly chide the candidates for straying from the subject. The discussion was played live on CNN,MSNBC, Fox and other national cable channels, and is said to have a fair chance of becoming the most watched debate in the state's political history.
