Market Blast Kills 3 in Indian Kashmir

A bomb hidden inside a videocassette recorder exploded in a busy market in Indian Kashmir, killing three people and wounding 28 others.The VCR had been brought to an electronics shop in the town of Rajauri to be repaired. The bomb was apparently set off with a timer. The shop owner, his assistant and another person were killed instantly. Seven of the wounded were in critical condition, police said. Security officials cordoned off the area and were searching for the man who brought in the VCR. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion.
