The meeting of the finance ministers and central bank chiefs from the G7 group of the world's seven richest nations kicked off in Dubai. The economic leaders from the Group of Seven are meeting against a background of increasing optimism over the world economy, but US and Europe are expected to press Asian countries to allow their undervalued currencies to appreciate.
