Unit 3 of Bulgaria's only nuclear power plant Kozloduy quit operations on Saturday for repair works, an official of the N-plant announced.

The repair works are to be completed by September 22. They are a part of the 2003 annual repair that started September 2. Unit 6 of the nuclear plant is also included in the repair works.

Unit 4 works with full capacity, while unit 5 uses 75 percent of its capacity.
