The decision to choose Bulgaria as non-permanent member to the UN Security Council is a proof that the country is a respected partner of the international community, according to the United Democratic Forces /UDF/ floor leader Nadezhda Mihailova. She used to be Bulgarian Foreign Minister till the Cabinet of Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg stepped in power in July, 2001. `As floor leader of UDF and former foreign minister, I want to congratulate all members of the Ministry of External Affairs and all other Bulgarian institution on the decision of the UN Security Council,` the letter, on behalf of Mihailova, to Stefan Tafrov, the Bulgarian permanent representative to UN reads.
