BULGARIAN HARVARD ALUMNI CLUB INAUGURATED

The Bulgarian Harvard Alumni Club was inaugurated on October 8 at a special ceremony in the Swedish Embassy. The brother of Finance Minister Milen Velchev, George Velchev, was elected President of the Club. Swedish Ambassador Sten Ask hosted the ceremony. Niki Tzavella presented, on behalf of Socrates Kokkalis, the Kokkalis Program on Southeastern and East-Central Europe, based at Harvard University. The purpose of the club is to establish a network of leading policy –makers, businessmen and other influential people of the Bulgarian society.
