Czech Prime Minister Vladimir Spidla welcomes the companion of his high profile guest Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. Asimo, a 1.2-meter tall robot attended a state dinner at Hrzansky Palace, Prague, on Thursday. Koizumi, being on a three-day official visit to the Czech Republic, brought Asimo to pay tribute to Czech writer Karel Capek, who invented the word "robot" in his 1921 play "R.U.R."
