Bulgaria's Nuke Unit 5 to Be Switched Off Grid

The 1,000 MW Unit Five at Bulgaria's nuclear power plant Kozloduy, 200km north of Sofia, will be switched off the energy grid Thursday for regular repair works. Its operations will be suspended for eight days.

Operations for switching the 440 MW Unit Three to the energy grid started on Wednesday and are expected to be complete by the end of the week. Its operations were again suspended over the annual repair works.
