The Movement for Rights and Freedoms, the coalition partner of the ruling Simeon II National Movement, will nominate in three days separate candidate for the presidential elections that will take place on November 11. The candidate will not be any party`s member, most probably. That was announced by Kemal Eyub from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. The deadline for presidential nominations is October 6. Petur Stoyanov, whose presidenatial candidature was supported by the Simeon II National Movement on October 3 said that he respects the position of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. `I think that during my mandate, I have shown that I am President of all Bulgarians, including Turks and Muslims,` he added. The leader of the United Democratic Forces Ekaterina Mihaylova commented that the support for the nomination of Petur Stoyanov on behalf of the National Movement was expected. `The turn in the decision of the National Movement to support the nomination of Stoyanov means that the Movement cannot find a suitable candidate to oppose the current President who is to run for second mandate and is a successful candidate,` the UDF Parliamentary Group leader Nadezhda Mihaylova said, quoted by Info Radio. The parliamentary groups of the Simeon II National Movement and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms met in Parliament on October 3. The representatives of the groups did not discuss the presidential elections. They decided to talk on the joint law program of the two groups on October 4.
