US President George Bush visited Friday an Ugandan AIDS clinic and met with about two dozen AIDS patients. Uganda is a model for stemming its once-spiraling rate of HIV infection. It stands in sharp contrast to Botswana -- another stop on Bush's African journey -- which is struggling with the world's highest HIV infection rate. "This is such a land of hope in the heart of Africa," Bush said about Uganda. Earlier he met with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and praised him for reducing infection rates.
