The Bulgarian Prime Minister met Defense Minister Nikolay Svinarov and the Chief of the General Staff of the Bulgarian Army Miho Mihov. During his visit, Saxe-Coburg met the political cabinet of minister Svinarov and General Mihov`s assistants. The experts of the ministry assured the Bulgarian Prime Minister in the readiness of the Defense Ministry and the Bulgarian Army to manage with all necessary tasks. `The Bulgarian military land forces will be reduced with nearly 12,000 people, `General Kiril Tsvetkov, Chief of the General Staff of the fforces said earlier during the day, quoted by BTA. The undertaken measure is in connection with `Plan 2004`, a project for army reformation. Nearly 20% of the current staff will be in charge of the preservation of the military technique and property from now on. This part will also be responsible for the training of the army.
