Protesters burned Tuesday the Chinese Communist Party flag in Hong Kong as Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao tried to reassure people in the territory that their rights and freedoms would be protected. More than 100,000 Hong Kong people are expected to take to the streets later in the day to denounce the local Beijing-backed government's planned anti-subversion law and demand greater democracy. The huge protest march marks the sixth anniversary of the territory's return to China.
