The Minister of State Administration Dimitur Kalchev took a seven days leave to participate in Masonic celebrations in the United States, 24 Hours Daily wrote, quoting Masonic sources. The celebrations are on the occasion of the 200 anniversary of the Higher Masonic Council. The ceremony begins on September 29 in Charleston, South Carolina. The American President George Bush is also invited. Three more Bulgarians are invited to the ceremony: Petur Kalpakchiev, Commander of the Higher Masonic Council in Bulgaria, Valentin Stoev and Stoyan Denchev, business consultant of foreign companies. Kalchev did not explain that he goes to the United States. According to 24 Hours, Kalchev and Denchev have one of the highest degrees in the Masonic lodge – 32. The Bulgarian Minister received that degree some time ago in a military base in Italy. Kalpakchiev has the highest degree – 33.
