Legendary rock star David Coverdale from Whitesnake threw a concert in Sofia Saturday night. The musician arrived in Bulgaria a day earlier bringing his girlfriend and his son Jasper.

Up to the last minute, the star refused to reveal whether he will come by plane or will ride in a limousine from Greece. For security reasons, he has checked in his Sofia hotel under the name Christopher Robin after the Vinnie The Pooh hero.

Following the concert, Coverdale will visit the mountainous Rila Monastery in Southern Bulgaria. The trip was planned after he told his hosts from the Sofia Music Enterprises he loathed crowded places but wanted to see some interesting Bulgarian site.

Coverdale was the front man of famous rock band Deep Purple before he formed Whitesnake.
