US Troops Hunt Saddam Loyalists

The US military captured nearly 400 suspected Saddam Hussein loyalists in a bid to end daily attacks against American soldiers north of Baghdad.The massive operation, codenamed "Operation Peninsula Strike", used jet fighters, tank-buster aircraft and patrol boats, and involvied thousands of American troops. A report, in the New York Times newspaper, said more than 3,000 US troops were involved in the operation. It said four Iraqis had been killed and four Americans wounded.
