In case that the Simeon II National Movement does not announce a candidate for President, Coalition for Bulgaria will accept the proposal of the Euro Left Party for a separate strong leftist candidature. That became clear after the Socialist leader Georgi Purvanov told that to journalists in the Parliament lobby. `A successful mayor is a possible candidate. The Mayor of Burgas Ivan Kostadinov, for example,` Purvanov said. The decision of the party will be known on September 30 after a plenary session of Coalition for Bulgaria.`Simeon II National Movement, the Bulgarian Socialist Party and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms cannot find a strong candidate for President,` the leader of the United Democratic Forces said. `It is clear that the candidature of the current President is strong and popular,` she added. The Simeon II National Movement will probably announce its candidate on October 6.
