US Denies Kashmir Roadmap

US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage has denied he has a roadmap for peace between India and Pakistan. Armitage was speaking to the BBC before leaving on a tour of the region aimed at easing tensions between the nuclear rivals. He said the dispute over Kashmir was very worrisome - but less so than it had been a year ago, when the two sides nearly went to war. In the latest in a series of moves by both countries, Pakistan has announced it will ease trade restictions and restore travel and sporting links with India. It follows moves last week by India in which it said it would restore full diplomatic ties and air links with its rival.
