OFFICIAL REPORTED $ 200 000 DEMANDING BRIBE

During the rule of Peter Zhotev an employee from the Ministry of Economics demanded a bribe of $200,000 in order to let a privatization deal to be sealed, said Vice-PM Nikolay Vassilev for Standart. As the sum was not offered, the firm had been winding up for years already. I don`t know on how high a level is the post of this employee, at the moment I`m investigating this case. If the person is still in the ministry, he would be duly sanctioned, Vassilev said.
