School Fire Kills 21 Russian Children and Teacher

Twenty-one Russian children and their teacher were killed in a fire in a school in eastern Siberia early on Monday, Interfax news agency reported. Some reports set the age of the children at 11 to 17, earlier reports had said the children were aged five to 11. A government-appointed commission flew to Sydy Bal to determine the cause of the fire, ITAR-TASS reported.
