Three more deaths in Hong Kong and an eighth victim in Canada have been attributed to the mystery SARS virus raising the world total to 87. 40 new cases of the disease reported recently have dashed hopes that the outbreak had reached its peak and had begun to tail off. A World Health Organisation team has arrived in the southern Chinese city of Foshan where the SARS outbreak began in November 2002. 30 different countries around the world have reported more than 2,600 cases of the disease. The WHO has issued a health warning about the disease leading to severe disruption of tourist and business travel in Asia with many airlines facing heavy financial losses. Since Thursday 300 flights in and out of Hong Kong have been cancelled.
