Serb Popular Singer Ceca Arrested over Djindjic Murder

Svetlana Raznatovic, a popular singer known as Ceca and widow of the former paramilitary leader, Arkan, was reportedly arrested in Serbia.

According to Serbian media she is being investigated for links to underworld figures suspected of involvement in Djindjic's assassination.

Arkan, who was murdered three years ago, was reputed to be a kingpin of Serbian organised crime.

B92 radio said sources close to the Djindjic investigation believed Ceca was in contact with the gangster Milorad Lukovic, known as Legija, both before and after the assassination, BBC reported.
