CSKA Sofia Due to Secure Bulgarian Premier League Lead

Bulgarian Premier League leaders PFC CSKA Sofia are expected to be awarded a 3-0 win at PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv after the home side failed to show up for the match. The decision will be officially announced on March 18, when the meeting of the sports commission has been scheduled.

In other matches from the XVII round Levski won 6-0 against PFC Rilski Sportist Samokov.

PFC Litex Lovech lost ground on the leaders as they were held 0-0 by PFC Marek Dupnitza.

PFC Cherno More Varna overtook PFC Naftex Burgas after defeating them 3-1 at home. PFC Dobrudzha Dobrich achieved their second win of the championship as they defeated PFC Lokomotiv Sofia 1-0 and two late goals earned PFC Spartak Varna 2-1 away win against PFC Chernomorets Burgas.

PFC CSKA Sofia leads with 44 points in the current ranking, followed by Levski - 40 points and Slavia - 35 points.
