A man who claimed to have taken a bomb into the Beijing office of the Reuters news agency has been arrested by police. The man said he was protesting against corruption in China and demanded to be interviewed. He held a number of Reuters employees for about two hours, before releasing them unharmed. The official Xinhua news agency reported that the bomb had been found to be a hoax. Protests against corruption are not uncommon in China's provinces, but authorities in the capital are usually quick to stamp out any potential dissent.
