Newcomer Dominates Grammy Awards

Newcomer Norah Jones swept the boards at the 45th annual Grammy Awards in New York, the first time to be held in New York in five years. Jones won eight prizes including Album of the Year and Best New Artist. Also in the Grammy spotlight was Bruce Springsteen, whose album The Rising, inspired by the 11 September attacks in the US, took three awards. British rock band Coldplay won two prizes - best rock performance by a group for In My Place and best alternative album for A Rush Of Blood To The Head.
