In a testament to enduring friendship, this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and China
The government, the ombudsman, MEPs and experts will participate in the International Forum on Double Food Standard in the EU. The event is under the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and is under the patronage of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, BNT reported.
The purpose of the meeting in Sofia is to discuss the possibility of solving the problem of the double standard of food in the EU by adopting new legislation or changes to the current directives that prohibit the distribution of foods under the same brand but with different ingredients.
The event is a natural continuation of the debate on the subject in the Community that highlighted the notion that "in a Union of equality there can be no second-quality consumers".
