Bulgaria: Electric pillar fell on children in Pazardzhik archive

Electric pillar has fallen on two children - brother and sister while playing in one of the neighborhood public gardens in Pazardzhik. The incident happened yesterday around 5 pm

The metal facility surprisingly fell on the children who were not badly injured. It saved them that the 10-year-old girl heard the creaking of a ladder before it collapsed and fell to the ground.

The child raised his hands and tried to save his brother, but only managed to soften the blow. The sister has bruises and flushing on the hands, and the boy has a wound on his forehead.

Police were immediately called to the ground, and a team of firefighters was also called. An electrician soon arrived to stop the power supply.

The company responsible for this type of electric poles will probably be punished. They are poorly maintained and corroded, but no measures have been taken in time to secure them. It is also ordered to check the condition of all other electrical posts in street lighting.
