Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz arrives today on a working visit to Sofia, BNR reports. Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Kurz will discuss the continuity in the topics of the Bulgarian and Austrian presidencies of the Council of the European Union.
Bulgaria's desire to continue the theme of the Western Balkans' European perspective and to build infrastructure links with the EU within the forthcoming Austrian Presidency.
Borisov and Kurz are also expected to talk about cooperation within the EU, focusing on the forthcoming change in asylum policy and the reception of migrants, the security of the external border guard in the context of Bulgaria's insistence on joining the Schengen area, added the National Radio.
