Bulgaria's nuclear power plant Kozloduy switched on third unit on Friday. It was switched off on Monday due to a minor technical failure, which involved no radioactive material or leakage.

A leak in a water supply system lowered the pressure at the primary circuit of the 440-megawatt reactor number three. The reactor was afterwards taken offline and the necessary repairs were conducted.

Experts commented the failure was too minor to cause any danger.
