The trial of Slobodan Milosevic, former President of Yugoslavia, is due to resume at the International War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague on Thursday. Witnesses will be testifying about alleged atrocities by Serb forces in Croatia from 1991 to 1995. The prosecution claims Serb soldiers killed at least 200 people taken from a hospital in Vukovar, and that Mr Milosevic was responsible for a shelling campaign on the old coastal town of Dubrovnik, a Unesco World Heritage site. Former Serbian President Milan Milutinovic, who was a close ally of Slobodan Milosevic, is also expected to stand trial soon. He could be a key witness in the Milosevic case if he agrees to testify.
