Police Wounded in Caracas Clashes

Two police officers have been shot and wounded during further violent protests in the Venezuelan capital Caracas. A male officer was hit in the thigh and a female officer was hit by fragments when a bullet ricocheted off a wall. A day earlier two people were shot dead in clashes between supporters and opponents of embattled President Hugo Chavez. Caracas police chief Henry Vivas said the latest shooting broke out during a wake held by Chavez supporters for one of Friday's two victims.
