Relief Supplies Head for the Solomons

Relief supplies headed for the islands in the Solomons chain after Cyclone Zoe struck on Sunday. Many fears that entire villages may have been buried by sand. The news comes after lots of criticism over the lengthy delay in launching a relief effort. Late Thursday a relief boat departed for the islands of Tikopia and Anuta. The number of the casualties and the needs of the people are still unknown nearly a week.
