Bulgaria: 343,055 Migrants Entered Europe So Far in 2016 BGNES

Since the beginning of the year, a total of 343,055 migrants have entered Europe. 4,620 people have died or gone missing, announced the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

170,000 people have arrived in Greece, over 167,000 have entered Italy and more than 5,400 have come ashore the Spanish coast.

The highest number of victims was registered along the route North Africa-Italy – 4,140. Victims along the Turkey-Greece route numbered 420.
