Part of the Union in Sofia published on Facebook a declaration blaming the unsatisfactory result of Traycho Traykov during the presidential elections on a lack of clear support from the leadership of the party, especially from the leader Bozhidar Lukarski.
A Sofia-based structure of the party declared also officially that they are against re-signing of the coalition agreement with the Reformist Bloc (RB).
„То achieve its historical goal- the establishment of the law of state with market economy, the party needs serious change in policy and the way we implement it. It's hard to аccomplish that with this leadership,” says the declaration of the Union.
“The Chairman of UDF, as a responsible politician must bear his responsibility for the state of the party and the achieved election results.”
