Bulgaria: British PM: Britain Will Stick To Brexit Timetable BGNES

British Prime Minister Theresa May reckons she will manage to stick to the timetable for starting the negotiations on Brexit in spite of the decision of the High Court that in order to do so she needs approval from Parliament.

May had a telephone conversation with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Friday and assured him that negotiations on Brexit will start at the end of March.

Choosing the suitable moment for Brexit is entirely in the hands of the British government, announced the spokesperson of the European Commission Mina Andreeva.

The President stated explicitly that he respects the legislative and constitutional arrangements of the United Kingdom. These are British issues. The organisation of time is in the hands of British authorities, said Andreeva.

The appeal of the authorities of the decision of the High Court will be heard in December.
