Bulgaria: Bulgaria Wants Guarantees for Visa Abolition in Exchange for Supporting EU-Canada Agreement BGNES

Bulgaria will want guarantees for the abolition of Canadian visas in order to support the free-trade agreement between the EU and Canada, announced the government’s press centre.

This position will be defended at the two-day meeting of the leaders of the EU which begins on Thursday.

The decision of the government is to not support the signing of the agreement without irrevocable guarantees on the part of the Canadian government for the abolition of visas for all Bulgarian citizens.
