Croatian Ruling Party Triumphs in Elections, Tough Negotiations Ahead
In a widely expected outcome, Croatia's ruling conservative party, the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), emerged victorious in the parliamentary elections
The number of voting declarations filed by Bulgarians abroad is record high, said the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission Tsvetozar Tomov, reported Focus agency.
“We can expect record-high activity on the part of Bulgarian voters regarding the presidential elections. Yet another curious thing is the fact that a West European country like the UK is the place where we received most declarations from. This has not happened before,” added Tomov.
The number of confirmed voting declarations on the website of CEC is 34,090. The highest number of declarations was submitted for the UK – 7,106, Turkey – 6,587, Germany – 3,508 and the USA – 2,933.
Declarations filed at diplomatic and consular missions were 3,743, out of these 2,193 have been confirmed.
