Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria has made it to the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament in Beijing after facing touch challenge by Lucas Pouille of France.

Dimitrov turned the table after being at the verge of defeat, at 6:7, 4:5.

At two points from defeat, however, the Bulgarian returned the breakthrough, resulting in a tie-break. The game ended 6:7(3), 7:6(0), 6:4.

Dimitrov will face the winner of the game between Rafael Nadal (Spain) and Adrian Manarino (France).

This is the second victory of Dimitrov in two months against Pouille, a rising star who made a spectacular climb up the ranking of ATP, moving from the 91st to the 16th sport within just eight months.

Sporta.bg, a specialized Bulgarian website, reports that a group of Chinese fans of Dimitrov could be seen in the crowd with waving a huge sign reading "Khaide Grigor. Davai Grisho" (a misspelled, Latin-script version of "Come on Grigor. Do it Grisho!").
