Bulgaria: Bulgarian PM to EU's Mogherini: We Will Withdraw From Afghanistan Should Afghanis Not Return to Homeland BGNES

“Together with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, we discussed the migrant crisis, the implementation of the agreement between the EU and Turkey, as well as issues on the agenda of the ongoing conference on Afghanistan in Brussels,” wrote on Facebook PM Boyko Borisov.

“I expressed my satisfaction with the agreement reached between the EU and Afghanistan on the management of migrant flows which will facilitate the return to their homeland of Afghanis who have been refused asylum in the EU, ” added Borisov.

“I said a while ago that I am prepared to submit to Parliament a proposal to withdraw our contingent from Afghanistan if this problem is not solved quickly. We had put this question directly to our EuroAtlantic partners and I am glad that this right decision was reached,” stated Borisov.
