Daniel Mitov Ready for Foreign Minister Role Amid Geopolitical Test in Bulgaria
Daniel Mitov, Deputy Chairman of GERB, has expressed his readiness to assume the position of Acting Foreign Minister
The presidential candidate of the coalition Movement 21-NDSV Tatyana Doncheva reckons that GERB will not reach a ballotage in the upcoming presidential elections.
Doncheva and vice president nominee Mincho Spasov filed their documents with the Central Election Commission on Monday.
“There are a few candidates who will run in the ballotage – us, probably BSP’s candidate and the candidate of the Patriotic Front,” said Doncheva.
According to her, the ruling party GERB has advantages in terms of the organisation of the campaign and the possibilities of manipulating the results.
“Considering their results in the local elections, when they secured 800,000 votes, I do not think that t hey have the resource to do better now,” added Doncheva
