Kiril Petkov on his Citizenship: I Do Not Feel Any Guilt
I feel no moral guilt towards anyone. This was stated by Kiril Petkov, answering a question whether he would apologize to the Bulgarian people for violating the Constitution.
Minister of Regional Development Lilyana Pavlova has requested that Sofia City Court annul the contracts for the sale of the land under the tsarski konyushni over which the Sofia District Governor Veselin Penev resigned.
There are three main motives for annulling the deal. First and foremost, Penev has bypassed the law by authorising the procedure for exit from co-ownership.
Besides, Evrotransbild is not co-owner of the property. “We do not have a real co-owner to whom the property has been legitimately sold,” explained Pavlova.
The third motive is that the state has lost money because of the price-forming approved by Penev. 7.5 decares of state property were sold for BGN 658,870 only.
