GERB will take part in the elections independently, announced the Vice Chairman of GERB and chief of the National Pre-Election Headquarters of the party, Tsvetan Tsvetanov.
“We would also like to see what the support is for the Reformist Bloc and for the Patriotic Front,” added Tsvetanov.
In his opinion, a lot of the people who formerly supported the Reformist Bloc will now vote for the presidential candidate of GERB in order to make sure that there voice is being heard.
Tsvetanov also stated that they are not worried and that there is no need for additional time to make the presidential candidates of GERB more recognisable. The candidates will be announced officially on October 2 and they will be registered on October 3. The real presidential campaign will begin on October 6, added Tsvetanov.
